Tennille McCoy
Tennille R. McCoy (Democratic Party) is a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 14. She assumed office on January 9, 2024. Her current term ends on January 13, 2026.
McCoy (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the New Jersey General Assembly to represent District 14. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 4, 2025. She advanced from the Democratic primary on June 10, 2025.
Biography
Tennille McCoy earned a bachelor's degree in public administration from Virginia State University, a master's degree in management and employee relations from Rutgers University in 2008, and an M.B.A. from a joint program between the London School of Economics, New York University Stern School of Business, and HEC Paris. Her career experience includes working as a realtor and in human resources, including working as an assistant commissioner of human capital strategies at the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, human resources director at UBS, and at HR director Aramark, among other positions. McCoy also founded the New Jersey Black Women's Collective.[1]

For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
