McGhaw-Boure ran for election in the 2010 election for Missouri House of Representatives District 80. McGhaw-Boure was defeated by Sylvester Taylor in the August 3 Democratic primary election. Gloria Hardrict-Ewing also ran in the Democratic primary. Taylor ran uncontested in the general election, which took place on November 2, 2010.[4][5][6]
