Tera Klutz
Tera Klutz (Republican Party) was the Indiana Comptroller of State. She assumed office on January 9, 2017. She left office on November 30, 2023.
Klutz (Republican Party) ran for re-election for Indiana Comptroller of State. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Klutz was appointed by Governor Eric Holcomb (R) on January 8, 2017, and assumed office on January 9, 2017.[1] She succeeded Suzanne Crouch (R), who was elected to serve as lieutenant governor of Indiana on November 8, 2016.
On July 1, 2023, Indiana legislation was enacted that changed the office title from "Indiana Auditor of State" to "Indiana Comptroller of State."[2]
Biography
Klutz earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne in 1999.[3] Klutz's career experience including working as a senior accountant for the accounting firms Crowe and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Before becoming state comptroller, she was twice elected auditor of Allen County, Indiana, in 2010 and 2014.[4]
