Growing up on a farm in DeKalb County, I learned the value of hard work caring for livestock and land. My first job was detasseling corn- a humble start that instilled a strong work ethic. I graduated from Bradley University in Peoria with a BS in Construction Management and Business. After college, I moved to Chicago, enjoying the vibrant city life. My career as an estimator and project manager taught me to manage details and deliver projects on time and within budget.

After getting married, I settled in the suburbs, raising three children in DuPage and Kane Counties over the last 30 years. I cherish these communities and their people. My faith is central to my life. Through church involvement, I have served in various ministries, striving to honor Jesus in all I do.

I am not a politician; I am a dedicated mom and community member who seeks to bring positive change to Illinois. I believe the current direction of our state needs to shift to better serve its people. With my practical experience and strong values, I am committed to making a difference for Illinois families.
  • Don't mess with our kids. I will strive to have schools get back to the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic. Our kids need to be taught skills to succeed in jobs and life. I do not believe that the current sex education nor CRT needs to be taught in the schools.
  • Are you better off than 4 years ago? Gas prices have doubled, groceries have increased significantly, Our state is 50/50 in fiscal stability. Our pension fund is $140 billion underfunded. It is time for a change. There are many factors in all of these issues, however our state is not improving. We are falling farther behind. We can not afford to spend $1 billion on illegal migrants as was approved in the 2025 budget. We need to focus on the citizens.
  • Term limits for politicians. Unfortunately, Illinois is know for corrupt politicians. People do not trust our politicians and many leave public office wealthy. I would like to see term limits.
I am passionate about policy which affects our children and families.
I admire Ronald Reagan. He entered politics later in life, as I am doing. He represented strength and was admired by many. People trusted him.
