Primary: She was defeated in the Republican primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 19.2 percent of the vote. She competed against David T. Tunnell and Cynthia R. Black. [2][1]

Education

Housholder attended Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University) to earn her B.S. in psychology with a double minor in criminal justice studies and music (concentration in vocal performance). She went to University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law for her J.D.[3]
