Therese Ford was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 75 of the Alabama House of Representatives.

Ford was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Alabama. She lost to incumbent Martha Roby in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1]

Elections for the Alabama House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Reed Ingram was unopposed in the Republican primary. Therese Ford withdrew from the race before the Democratic primary. Ingram was unchallenged in the general election.[2][3][4][5]

Ford ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Alabama's 2nd District. She was unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 13. She was defeated by incumbent Republican Martha Roby in the November 6 general election.[6]
