Teri Vasquez is a judge of the Colorado 17th Judicial District. Vasquez assumed office on January 23, 2021. Vasquez's current term ends on January 14, 2031.
Vasquez ran for re-election for judge of the Colorado 17th Judicial District. Vasquez won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Gov. Jared Polis (D) appointed her to the district court on January 13, 2021.[1]
Biography
Vasquez received a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1989 and a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law in 1994.[1]
Prior to the appointment, Vasquez was a shareholder with Bayer & Carey, PC from 2014 to 2021. She also served as an associate with Bayer & Carey, PC (2011-2014), Stuart S. Jorgensen & Associates (1999-2011), Thelen, Reid and Priest (1996-1999), and Adams, Duque & Hazeltine (1994-1996).[1]
