Terrance Carroll
Terrance Carroll is a former Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 7 from 2003 to 2011. He served as the Speaker of the House during his last term.
Biography
Carroll's professional experience includes working as an attorney, police officer and nonprofit executive. He is a member of the Colorado State Bar Association, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Denver Bar Association and Sam Cary Bar Association.[1]

Issues
Carroll did not provide answers to the Colorado State Legislative Election 2008 Political Courage Test. The test informs voters how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]

Carroll introduced legislation in the Colorado House of Representatives on March 24 that would have:
- Required that petition drive management companies who hire paid circulators go through a licensing process.
- Circulators would have been required to go through a government-sponsored training procedure before they would be allowed to collect signatures legally.[3]

On November 4, 2008, Carroll won re-election to the 7th District seat in the Colorado House of Representatives, defeating opponent Josh Raines (R).[5]
Carroll raised $28,727 for his campaign, while Raines raised $7,324.[6]
