Campaign themes (2016)

King placed the following statement on her 2016 campaign website:[2]

You will not find the Republican Establishment supporting me, and that is fine, because my concern is for the AMERICAN PEOPLE, not the "Party". I stand for the U. S. Constitution, and all that it embodies. I do not wish to change it, or have it interpreted by Judge's who do not follow it. I stand for the First and Second Amendments, of free speech, religious freedom and the right of the American people to bear arms to defend ourselves not only from those who would harm us, but in order to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government, that was it's intention. I am pro-life, I stand for traditional marriage and family values. I stand with Israel, and cannot believe our Leader's have allowed Iran to get Nuclear weapons, as they shout death to America and death to Israel. I believe that immigration from Islamic Countries must be stopped for the indefinate future, and only those who are of ANY other RELIGION other than ISLAM, who are being persecuted and wiped out, such as Christians, should be allowed in. I will do what the American people elect me to do, I will protect and stand up for our Veterans and Police officers, and I will ALWAYS put the American people and our Country first.[7]
