Campaign themes

Woodmansee's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[1]
Education
- Excerpt: "I support ensuring that all children have the opportunity to learn whether at public, charter or private schools. But Arizona has left children behind. The Federal Common Core that is a standard that Arizona needs to use as a tool for our children. It’s time to open the book and focus on the children and the teachers to ensure proper resources are reaching the classrooms."
Healthcare
- Excerpt: "Our healthcare has been handled with the lack of care for the working families and their voices haven’t been heard. It’s time to hear their voices and make changes so no one has to go without the proper access to medical care."
Secure Our Borders
- Excerpt: "I plan on supporting the men and women of the Border Patrol and making sure that criminals, drug traffickers and human smugglers are not crossing. With the increased risk of terrorist threats, we must ensure that our communities are safe and we must secure our borders."
Military
- Excerpt: "Coming from a family where my father who earned the silver star in WWII and a brother who served and retired from the military, I have a deep sense of commitment to the military. I believe in fighting to keep our bases and to continually support the men and women who serve in our military and their families."
Water Rights
- Excerpt: "Arizona is a desert and water is our most precious resource. We use it in every aspect of our daily routines. We must not take it for granted. Our farmers are fighting special interest groups and developers who are trying to take their water rights. These farmers are the ones who feed you and I. Their water rights must be protected."
