I'm Terrica Williams the City Constable for the City of Baton Rouge. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Attended Mckinley Senior High School and graduated from Glen Oaks High School. My Law enforcement career began at the EBRSO where I attended the 162nd Basic Training Academy. I worked in Communications, C.I.U., Courtroom Security and East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. I later transfered to the City Constable Office where I was the 1st female Sergeant to operate the City Jail, Public Informations Officer and a D.A.R.E. Officer. In 2018 I offered my self to the people of Baton Rouge as a candidate for City Constable. I won the Election with 57% of the vote. Making me not only the 1st female but the youngest in the history of the agency. I love my position. I'm a public servant who cares about her community. I have 21 years of Law Enforcement Experience with 5.5 as the Constable.
  • I walked into a agency that was having some short falls. I was able to pull it out of the deficit and invest in new equipment. Equipment such as weapons, tasers, radios, laptops, units, updated workspace. All white naking sure the officers received an 11% pay increase. I plan to continue to advocate for the employees and ensure they are treated fairly.
  • My vision is to continue to be a public servant and continue to take care of my community. Most of the duties of the Constable are mandated by the court and because of that my vision is to continue to bridge the gaps between law enforcement and the public. My vision is to continue the community events and give backs.
  • I am approachable, I have a open door policy, I have a passion for what I do and I love what I do. I am up for re-election. I'm the only candidate that has Proven myself to my community. I'm the only candidate that has the training, the knowledge, the experience and the compassion to do what I do.
I'm passionate about making sure policy is in place and being followed. I'm passionate about making sure everyone is respected and being treated fair. This includes my employees as well as the community.
My grandmother. She was God fearing, strong, loving and cared for everyone.
No there's no book. I'm a grassroots candidate. I love meeting the people where they are. I love interacting and being around people.
Dignity, honesty, respect, morals, understanding and fairness are important. Being able to communicate with people and listen to people with an open ear.
I have a heart for people. Im a person of pride, dignity and respect. I'm a go getter not afraid to try. I have worked in this capacity for a long time.
I'd like to continue to build this agency train someone to take the torch and keep it going. Then come back to help the person in the position with the resources I have.
Fredericks of Hollywood
Worked my way up to store manager. I loved it. I was working in a retail store. Customer service was important. Heavy cash handling was a part of it and managing the entire store with 5-8 employees.

I think financial transparency and government accountability is important. There shoukd be a budget and the budget is for a reason. And it should be open book as far as spending and what it's been spent on.
