Terrill Moffett is a judge for the 1st Chancery District of Mississippi. He was appointed by Gov. Phil Bryant (R) to replace Talmadge Littlejohn on December 18, 2015.[1] Moffett ran unopposed for election to his seat in 2016. The general election occurred on November 8, 2016.[2]

Moffett earned his B.S. from the United States Military Academy in 1971. He was an attorney in private practice from 1980 until his appointment in 2015. He previously taught political science at the University of Mississippi.[1]
