Terry Crone
Terry Crone was a judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals 3rd District. He assumed office on March 8, 2004. He left office on November 5, 2024.
Governor Joe Kernan (D) appointed Crone to the Indiana Court of Appeals on March 8, 2004, and was retained by voters in 2006 and 2016.[1]
Education
In 1974, Crone graduated cum laude from DePauw University with a bachelor's degree in political science and history. He received his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School in 1977.[1]
Career
Crone was an attorney in private practice during the first nine years of his legal career. He served as St. Joseph County Attorney from 1981 to 1986. In 1986, Crone was appointed magistrate for the St. Joseph Circuit Court. He served as magistrate until 1989, when he was appointed judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court. Crone was appointed to the Indiana Court of Appeals in 2004.[1]
