Terry Dunn
Terry Dunn is a former Republican member of the Alabama Public Service Commission. He unsuccessfully ran for re-election to the commission in 2016.[1] Dunn formerly occupied Place 2 on the commission from 2011-2015.[2]
Dunn lost his bid for a second term in the 2014 elections, and was defeated again in a March 2016 primary bid for the commission.[3][4]
Biography
Dunn is the owner of Dunn Development Corporation and Dunn Investment Group. He has held a state license in municipal utilities contracting for over 25 years. Dunn is a trustee of the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind.
Long active in the Republican Party, Dunn has served on both the State and Etowah County Republican Executive Committees. He was a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2004 and 2008.[5]

Alabama Public Service Commission (2011-2015)
Dunn was first elected to Place 2 on the Alabama Public Service Commission in 2010. He ran unsuccessfully for re-election in 2014, losing to Chip Beeker in the Republican primary runoff election on July 15, 2014.[6][7]

Dunn unsuccessfully challenged incumbent Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh (R) in the 2016 Republican primary.[8]

2014
Dunn ran unsuccessfully for re-election to the Alabama Public Service Commission in 2014.[7] Dunn sought the Republican nomination in the June 3 primary and was defeated by challenger Chip Beeker in the runoff election on July 15, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
