Terry F. Gestrin
Terry F. Gestrin (Republican Party) is running for election to the Idaho State Senate to represent District 8. He declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on May 19, 2026.[source]
Gestrin (Republican Party) was a member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 8A. He assumed office in 2012. He left office on December 1, 2022.
Biography
Gestrin was born in Cascade, Idaho, and as of January 2020 resides in Donnelly. He graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelor's degree in finance. His professional experience includes serving as volunteer fire chief, Donnelly Valley county commissioner, and chairman of the Valley County Republican Central Committee. Gestrin has served on the boards of the State Insurance Fund and the Idaho Foundation for Parks and Lands.[1]
