Campaign themes

Huckaby stated the following about his campaign on his website:[4]

Students and Teachers of Katy:
I want you to know that am running for School Board of Trustee to support you. I want to make sure you are allocated the percentage that is needed for both of you to be successful out of the funds designed to go to you. I have no interest in raising taxes to achieve this. I want to see how the budget has been structured. There are always excess in school budgets. I will work without reservation to make Katy the spotlight district it use to be before the current board allowed it to turn in to a media circus.

I am asking for your vote to bring Conservative Values back to Katy ISD. [5]
