Biography

Terry Martin was born in Winchester, New Hampshire. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965. His career experience includes working as a consultant, Brattleboro police officer, Vermont state trooper, special deputy U.S. Marshal, and court-qualified expert in accident reconstruction. Martin has been affiliated with Vermont State Employees, Retired State Troopers, the Police Association, the Sheriffs Association, Crash Hub Experts, the National Association of Accident Reconstruction Professionals, the Better Business Bureau, and the Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce.[1]

I'm concerned about spending, conservation, and the weakening of ethics. I am running on my name and integrity that I want to bring to the legislature, and am a Statesman that truly looks out for constituents and not the party.
Rights, I'm concerned about the loss of rights for all and will not follow an agenda put forth by a party, committee, or leadership.
My Mother, Carrie (Holmes) Martin, who bore 10 children with my dad and raised 8 of them without him in the home. She instilled a sense of appreciation for others, giving, and helping them.
Honesty, Integrity, and hours & years of experience on various committees, organizations, and training. I was on various State Committees, Bargaining, Steward, Collective Bargaining, and more.
To work with others to secure the needs of one's constituency.
He worked with ALL and was Highly Respected.
Custom Laundry Delivery Truck Driver for one year before I entered the U..S. Army.
The Bible. It sets a moral standard for all parts of life.
In the Garden (we have a large perennial garden that the deer love.)
Servitude and Respect regardless of whether or not you like the person.
Punishing those that won't follow a particular agenda by removing them from a committee or not appointing one.
Senator Bob Gannett who wanted me to run for the Senate when I retired.
All, as long as they don't demean and clean.
I do, unless it violates my Code of Conduct and Ethics.
