Terry Maxwell
Terry Maxwell is a former member of the Bakersfield City Council in California, representing Ward 2 from 2012 to 2016.[1] Maxwell was defeated in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Biography
Maxwell holds a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Redlands. His professional experience includes owning and operating T L Maxwell’s Restaurant & Bar in downtown Bakersfield.[2]

The mayor's chair and three seats on the Bakersfield City Council were up for general election in 2016. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 16, 2016. A primary was held on June 7, 2016, and the general election took place on November 8, 2016. Andrae Gonzales defeated incumbent Terry Maxwell and Kevin Blanton in the Bakersfield City Council, Ward 2 general election.[3]
