Terry McCall was a judge on the Eleventh District Court of Appeals in Texas. He was elected to this position on November 3, 1998.[1][2] He retired in October 2013.[3][4]

Education

Justice McCall received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas and his J.D. degree from the U.T. Law School.[1]

Military service

After law school, McCall served two years of active duty in the Army Reserve.[1]

Career

Justice McCall began his legal career as a lawyer specializing in corporate finance with the firm Baker & Botts. He then became the executive vice president of a computer timesharing company. After this, he worked for the Alaska Interstate Company as general counsel, a vice-president of finance and then senior vice-president. He formed McCall Industries in 1980, which was created from the manufacturing companies he bought from the Alaska Interstate Company. He sold these companies in 1992 and became a rancher and a Comanche County attorney. He then worked as an appellate lawyer until he was elected to the Court of Appeals in 1998.[1]

2010 election

McCall was re-elected to the Eleventh Court of Appeals after running unopposed.[5]
