Terry Q. Alarcon was the Chief Judge of the 41st Judicial District Criminal Court in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. He serves in Section L. He was first elected to the court on September 21, 1996 and was appointed Chief Judge in 2010. He retired from the court on January 3, 2012.[1][2]

Education

Alarcon received his B.S. degree from Spring Hill College and his J.D. degree from Loyola University - New Orleans. He was admitted to the bar in 1979.[3]

Career

Prior to his election to the District Court bench in 1996, Alarcon worked as a Traffic Court judge.[2]
