Terry Rogers (Georgia)
Terry Rogers (Republican Party) was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 10. Rogers assumed office on November 18, 2011. Rogers left office on January 11, 2021.
Rogers (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 10. Rogers won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Biography
Terry Rogers has been chair of the Joint Development Authority of Banks, Rabun, and Habersham County. He has been vice-chair of the Habersham Development Authority, and he has served on the executive board of the Northeast Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Tallulah Falls School, and on the board of Hilliard A. Wilbanks Foundation. Georgia Trend magazine named him as one of Georgia's 100 most influential Georgians.[1]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent T.A. "Terry" Rogers was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[6][7][8]

Rogers defeated Bruce Harkness, Sr. (R) and Lori Duke Jones (R) in the November 8 special election. Since he received a majority of the vote, a runoff election will not be held. Party affiliation was listed, and all candidates appeared on the same ballot.[11][12]
