Terry Vajgrt

Terry Scott Vajgrt is a judge on the Fifth Judicial District in Minnesota. He was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton in January 2012 to succeed Timothy K. Connell.[1]
He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires in 2020.[2]

Education
Vajgrt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 1986 and his J.D. from its law school in 1989.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Vajgrt served as an assistant public defender for the state of Minnesota. He also worked in the private practice of law. Past positions include: partner in the firm Klosterbuer and Vajgrt; former assistant Rock County attorney; assistant city attorney for Luverne; and adjunct professor at Colorado Technical University.[1]
