Tess Elshoff
Tess Elshoff was a nonpartisan member of the Ohio State Board of Education representing the state at large. Elshoff was first appointed to the board in 2011. She stepped down after serving the maximum two years on the board.[1]
Biography
Before her appointment to the state Board of Education, Elshoff was a member of the New Knoxville Board of Education, serving as the district's representative to the Ohio School Board Association's Small School District Advisory Committee. She has previously served on the board of the New Knoxville Community Park Association and on the New Knoxville Garden Club.[2]

Political career
Ohio State Board of Education (2011-2018)
Elshoff was first appointed to the board in January 2011 by Gov. John Kasich (R). She was appointed to a second four-year term in January 2015. On January 9, 2017, Elshoff was elected to a two-year term as the board's president.[3]
