In 2016, Ballotpedia began interacting with readers via SMS text messages. Readers who would like to donate to support Ballotpedia's work can do so by texting VOTER to 20222.

Ballotpedia is a 501(c)3 organization that relies on the generosity of its readers to continue providing encyclopedic coverage and expanding to cover more areas of government.

If you would like to help, you can donate $10 to Ballotpedia by texting “VOTER” to 20222, or visit our donation page for other ways to give.

After texting VOTER to 20222, a one-time donation of $10.00 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. All donors must be at least 18 years of age, and all donations must be authorized by the account holder (e.g., parents). By texting YES, the user agrees to the terms and conditions. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Service is available on most carriers.
