- The Arizona State Legislature is projected to adjourn its regular session. The legislature is required to adjourn by the Saturday of the last week in which the 100th calendar day falls. Arizona is one of 23 states with a Republican trifecta. Republicans control the governor’s office, the House by 12 seats, and the Senate by six seats.
