Biography
Thedis Crowe was born in Browning, Montana, and grew up on the Blackfeet Reservation. She earned a bachelor's degree in land resource sciences from Montana State University in 1991 and a graduate degree in Native American studies with a minor in management and public administration from the same university in 2003. Her career experience includes working for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service for 19 years and for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for 14 years. She has also been involved with a family ranching operation near Heart Butte, MT.[1]
