Theodore Howard McCaleb
Theodore Howard McCaleb (1810-1864) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
He was nominated by President John Tyler on September 1, 1841. He was confirmed by the Senate on September 3, 1841, and received commission that same day. He was reassigned to the United States District Court for the District of Louisiana on February 13, 1845. He was reassigned again to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana on March 3, 1849. On January 28, 1861, he resigned.[1] McCaleb was succeeded in this position by Edward Henry Durell.
