Theodore Sophocleus
Theodore J. Sophocleus (b. May 28, 1939) was a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 32 from 1999 to 2018. He passed away in June 2018.[1] He also served in the state House from 1993 to 1995.
Sophocleus was running for re-election at the time of his death.
Biography
Sophocleus' professional experience included working as an administrative officer in the State's Attorney's Office of Anne Arundel County, owner of Ted's Pharmacy, president of Discount Pharmacy, and as a pharmacist/director of Management Development and Professional Services for Read's Drug Stores.

2014
Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Mark S. Chang and incumbents Pamela Beidle and Theodore J. Sophocleus defeated Spencer Dove, Tonja Mccoy and Steven D. Wyatt in the Democratic primary, while Mark Angell, Joseph Fioravante, and Tim Walters defeated Jesse Mayer in the Republican primary. Beidle, Chang and Sophocleus defeated Angell, Fioravante and Walters for three seats in the general election.[2][3][4]
2010
Sophocleus successfully won re-election in the general election on November 2, 2010. He took the second of three available seats in the district.[5]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Theodore Sophocleus ran for District 32 of the Maryland House of Delegates, winning the third of three seats, losing to Pamela Beidle and Mary Ann Love but beating Mark Chang, Terry Gilleland, Jr., and Wayne Smith.[6]
Theodore Sophocleus raised $84,137 for her campaign.[7]
