Thereasa Black was a 2018 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Maryland.[1] Black withdrew prior to the filing deadline on February 27, 2018, due to being mobilized by the Naval Reserves and sent on a deployment to a combat zone.[2]
