Theresa Hubbard was a candidate for District 5 representative on the Mobile County Board of Education in Alabama. Hubbard ran for the seat in the primary election on March 1, 2016. She was defeated by incumbent Bill Foster (R) in the primary.[1]

Hubbard earned her B.S. in accounting and business from the University of South Alabama in 1997. She received her M.A. in national security and strategic studies in 2009. Hubbard has been a reserve military officer with the U.S. Coast Guard since 1998. Hubbard has been involved with Azalea City Republican Women, the Alabama Eagle Forum and Alabama Parents Involved In Education.[2]

District 5 incumbent Bill Foster (R) defeated challenger Theresa Hubbard (R) in the primary election on March 1, 2016. Foster won re-election without opposition in the general election.[3]
