Kane ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 115. Kane ran unopposed in the Republican primary on April 24. She was defeated by Frank Farina in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

2010
Kane won the May 18 Republican primary as a write-in, receiving enough votes to qualify for the November ballot, but lost to incumbent Democrat Edward Staback in the November 2 general election.[2]
