Thomas Deadrick (born August 26, 1952) was a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives for District 21, which encompasses Brule, Buffalo, Charles Mix, Jones and Lyman counties. Prior to leaving the house, he served as Speaker of the House. In 2010, Deadrick was ineligible to run under South Dakota's term limits. Deadrick declared his candidacy for the Republican nomination in the race for South Dakota Secretary of State on December 4, 2009.[1] However, he failed to receive his party's nomination for the position.

Deadrick had reached his term limit and is ineligible for re-election to the South Dakota House of Representatives. Instead, he ran for Secretary of State, but he failed to receive his party's nomination.
