Thomas Donovan (b. October 27, 1946) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Sullivan 4 from December 5, 2012 to February 20, 2013, when his resignation due to health concerns was announced.[1] He previously represented the Sullivan 4 District from 1992-2000 and 2002-2010. Donovan has also been the commissioner of the Housing Authority Commission.

Donovan's professional experience has been with the United States Army; State of New Hampshire Division of Children and Youth; and Human Services Administrator.

Donovan earned his B.A. from Fairfield University. He is married to Kam Oi.[2]

Donovan won election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Sullivan 4. Donovan was unopposed in the September 11 primary and defeated incumbent Charlene Lovett (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]

Donovan did not seek re-election to Sullivan 4 in 2010.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Donovan finished first for the five-seat Sullivan 4 District in New Hampshire receiving 3,591 votes, ahead of Democrats John Cloutier(3,257), Raymond Gagnon(3,196), Sandra Harris(3,185), Larry Converse(2,602), and Republicans Philip Osgood(3,380), Victor Bergeron(2,889), Chris Vinci(2,518), Ken Hall(2,427) and Ernest Bridge Jr.(1,735), and Others(11).[5]
