Thomas E. Griffth, Jr. is a judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was appointed in early 2011, effective February 4. He was elected to that seat in 2012 for a term that expires in December of 2018.[1][2]
Education
Griffith received his B.A. degree from Millikin University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law.[3]
Career
Griffith served as an assistant State's Attorney in Macon County from 1985 to 1987. He then spent 23 years in private practice before joining the circuit court.[3][1]
2012 election
Griffith was elected without opposition on Nov. 6, 2012. He was unopposed in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012.[4][2]
