Thomas Gleeson earned a bachelor’s of business administration from Southwestern University and a Master of Public Administration from The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University. His career experience includes working as the executive director of the Public Utility Commission of Texas.[1]

Gov. Greg Abbott (R) swore in Thomas Gleeson as Chair of the Texas Public Utility Commission on January 23, 2024, to replace Peter Lake.[2]
