Thomas Grady (Ohio)
Thomas J. Grady was a judge on the Ohio Second District Court of Appeals. He was elected to this position in 1988 and was re-elected to six-year terms in 1994, 2000 and 2006.[1][2][3] He retired from the bench at the end of 2012.[4]
Education
Grady received his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University in 1963 and his J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1968.[1]
Career
Judge Grady began his legal career in 1968 as a trial attorney with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In 1973, he began working as a trial attorney for the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He then worked as an adviser to the U.S. Attorney General from 1976 to 1977. He worked as a private practice lawyer from 1977 until his election to the Court of Appeals in 1988.[1]
