Thomas Higgins (Tennessee)
Thomas Aquinas Higgins (b. 1932) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Ronald Reagan nominated Higgins to the court on September 6, 1984 to fill the seat vacated by Leland Clure Morton. He was confirmed by the Senate on October 3, 1984, and received commission on October 4, 1984, assuming senior status on February 28, 1999.[1] Higgins was succeeded in this position by William Haynes.
