Tom Hooker
Thomas "Tom" Hooker is a former Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 77 from 2010 to 2017.
Hooker did not seek re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2016 because he was term-limited.
Biography
Hooker earned his bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's degree, and then from Western Michigan University with his Master's degree. His professional experience includes working as a Red Cross instructor and public school teacher.

Elections for the Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Jessica Hanselman was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Tom Hooker was unopposed in the Republican primary. Hooker defeated Hanselman in the general election.[4][5][6][7]

2012
Hooker won re-election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 77. He was unopposed in the August 7 Republican primary and defeated Scott Barton (D) and Larry Warner (L) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8]

Hooker won election to the District 77 Seat in 2010. He defeated Frank Murin, Rusty Richter, Dave Van Houten and Nate Vriesman in the August 3 Republican primary. He defeated Scott Barton (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[9][10]
