Thomas Howard was a 2014 Republican candidate for Sullivan 9 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
He is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Sullivan 2 from 2008 to 2012.

Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Virginia Irwin (D-Sullivan 6) was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Thomas Howard was unopposed in the Republican primary. Irwin and Howard will faced in the general election.[1] Incumbent Irwin defeated Howard in the general election, and was re-elected for another term.[2]

2012
Howard ran for election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Sullivan 9. Howard was unopposed in the September 11 primary election and was defeated by Linda Tanner (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
2010
On November 2, 2010, Howard won election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.[5][6]
Howard advanced past the September 14 primary election. He faced incumbent Beverly Rodeschin (R), incumbent Steven Cunningham (R), Peter Franklin (D), Peter Franklin (D), and Dan Lloyd (D) in the November 2 general election.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Howard finished third for the three-seat Sullivan 2 District in New Hampshire receiving 1,984 votes, behind Republicans Beverly Rodeschin(2,608), and Anthony Maiola(2,446), and ahead of Democrats Arthur Jillette Jr.(1,949), Melanie Bell(1,888), Peter Franklin(1,784), and Others(5).[7]
Howard raised $70 toward his campaign.
