Education
Dignan received his undergraduate degree from Ferris State University and earned his J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.[1]
Career
Dignan worked in private practice from 1988 to 1997 in Traverse City. He opened his own law office in Owosso in 1997 and continues to practice there today.[1]
2012 election
Dignan advanced from the primary election, winning 45.52% of the vote. He defeated Matthew J. Van Epps in the general election on November 6, winning 57.71% of the vote.[2][3][4]
