Thomas J. Tucker is a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Michigan. He was appointed a U.S. bankruptcy judge for the Eastern District of Michigan in March of 2003.[1]
Education
Judge Tucker attended The University of Toledo for his Bachelors degree and Harvard University for his J.D.[2]
Career
Tucker clerked for Hon. Albert J. Engel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He later entered private practice for twenty years with the law firm of Cooper and Walinski, LPA, of Toledo, Ohio, where he focused on commercial litigation, including bankruptcy, Uniform Commercial Code, and contract dispute matters.[1]
