Kincaid ran in the 2012 election for Texas House of Representatives, District 74. Kincaid defeated Dora Alcala in the May 29 primary election and was defeated by Poncho Nevarez (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

2010
Kincaid lost election to Texas House of Representatives District 74 in 2010. He defeated Yolanda Garza in the March 2 Republican primary. He then defeated incumbent Democratic candidate Pete Gallego in the November 2 general election.[4]
