Thomas Kliebert, Jr.

Thomas "Tom" Kliebert, Jr. was the Division B judge of the 23rd Judicial District in Louisiana. He was first elected to this position on November 5, 2002.[1][2] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3][4] He retired from the court in 2020 at the end of his term.[5]

Education
Kliebert received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in 1978 and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1981.[6]
Career
Kliebert worked in the 23rd Judicial District's Indigent Defender Program and as a probation monitor for the Louisiana Bar Association. He also worked as an assistant district attorney for twelve years, five and a half of which he was the first assistant district attorney. He was elected to the district court in 2002.[6]
