Thomas Logan
Thomas Logan was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 58 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Logan has served six-year-terms on the Hempfield township board and held the position of supervisor at the time of his candidacy.[1]
Biography
Logan attended Penn State University for agricultural business. His professional experience includes owning and operating his own farm.[1]

In an article with Trib Live, Logan said he ran for the following reasons:[1]
- Excerpt: "I am running because I have the best interests of local residents near and dear to my heart, and I want to protect their values and rights in Harrisburg. My family settled in Westmoreland County many years ago, and (my wife) Joann and I raised our family on the same family farm where I grew up."

Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent R. Ted Harhai defeated John Scott Nestor in the Democratic primary, while Thomas Logan was unopposed in the Republican primary. Harhai defeated Logan in the general election.[2][3][4]
