Thomas M. Roach, Jr. was a Democratic candidate for District 89 of the New York State Assembly. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.

Roach defeated Mark Jaffe in the September 14 Democratic primary. After a close election, Roach was defeated by incumbent Robert Castelli (R) in the general election.[1] Roach conceded after recanvassing established Castelli's victory.[2]
