Thomas M. Walsh was a judge on the Orphans Court of Queen Anne’s County in Queen Anne's County, Maryland.[1] He was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley and was sworn-in to office on April 8, 2014.[2][3] However, Walsh lost re-election to the court in November 2014.[4]

Walsh ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of Queen Anne’s County.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 16.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Stan Ruddie, Eric Wargotz, and incumbent judges, Kimberly Jean Cascia and Joseph V. DiPietro for three open seats.

Education
Walsh received his M.D. (doctor of medicine) from Rush Medical College in 1978.[3]
Career
In addition to his judicial duties for the Orphans Court of Queen Anne’s County, Walsh is a part-owner of the Maryland Primary Care Physicians in Queenstown, Maryland. He has practiced medicine there for the past twenty-six years.[3]
