Biography
Matthew earned his M.A. from Notre Dame University. His professional experience includes working as a social worker and parent coordinator.[1]

Elections for the Ohio State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. Dee Gillis defeated Thomas Matthew and Joe Lacey in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Bill Beagle was set to face Julie Busby in the Republican primary, but Busby withdrew from the race, leaving Beagle unopposed. Beagle defeated Gillis in the general election.[2]
