Thomas McCarthy is a judge of the Missouri 22nd Judicial Circuit Court. McCarthy assumed office in 2022. McCarthy's current term ends on December 31, 2030.
McCarthy ran for re-election for judge of the Missouri 22nd Judicial Circuit Court. McCarthy won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
On April 22, 2022, McCarthy was appointed by Gov. Mike Parson to serve as a Circuit Judge on the 22nd Circuit Court to replace David L. Dowd.[1]
Education
McCarthy received a bachelor's degree from Truman State University in 2001, and a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2004.[1]
Career
At the time of his appointment, McCarthy worked as an attorney at TuckerAllen LLC.[1] He also served as an assistant St. Louis County prosecutor and an assistant St. Louis City counselor.[2]
