Thomas McKay
Thomas McKay (Republican Party) was a member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 15. He assumed office on January 17, 2023. He left office on January 21, 2025.
McKay (Republican Party) ran for election to the Alaska State Senate to represent District H. He did not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 5, 2024.
McKay also ran for re-election to the Alaska House of Representatives to represent District 15. He did not appear on the ballot for the primary on August 20, 2024.
Biography
Thomas McKay lives in Anchorage, Alaska.[1] McKay earned a B.S. in petroleum engineering from Montana Tech in 1980 and an M.S. in environmental engineering from the University of Alaska at Anchorage in 2000.[2] His career experience includes working as a petroleum engineer for companies such as Amoco, ARCO Alaska, ConocoPhillips, and BlueCrest Energy Alaska.[3] McKay served as Chairman of the Alaska Republican Party.[1]
