- I will promote a steady, balanced approach to improving our education system. We should value all aspects of schools and work to build trust between parents, teachers, students, and administrators.
- I will seek to heal some of the divisiveness in our country by listening to Republicans and independents as well as Democrats, by not judging people, and by thinking independently on behalf of my constituents.
